Journalist Klodiana Lala has revealed details of the arrest of Russian citizen Igor Kokunov.

According to the journalist, this citizen is being detained in prison 313.

The journalist points out that the Court of Shkodra has imposed a 40-day prison sentence while the request for his extradition from Moscow, where he is convicted of fraud and extortion, is pending.

Klodiana Lala says that the Russian citizen, Igor Kokunov, was arrested on August 28, 2023 at the border point of Muriqani, where the police issued an official notification about this case.

Në këtë kuadër, në bashkëpunim me shërbimet e DVP Shkodër dhe si rezultat i shkëmbimit të informacioneve ndërmjet Interpol Tiranës dhe Interpol Moskës, u finalizua operacioni policor i koduar “Moscoë”, në vijim të të cilit u ndalua dhe u vu në pranga, me qëllim ekstradimin, shtetasi I. K., 59 vjeç, banues në Moskë, Rusi.
