Amar (Dritan) Shkëmbi was arrested today in the United Arab Emirates after being accused of being one of the people who carried out the assassination of former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj.

He turns out to be one of the people involved in the "Conspiracy" operation.

According to Euronews Albania, in the transcripts provided by SPAK made available to the French authorities, it turns out that he was communicating in the encrypted SKY application with the wanted Plaurent Dervishaj and Julian Meçaj.

The communications in the encrypted conversations are related to the assassination of former prosecutor Ndoja and Aleksandër Lahos, known by the nickname "Rrumi".- Advertisement -

The security measure "Prison" has been assigned to Shkëmba by the Special Court against Organized Crime and Corruption.

The operation was carried out by the State Police and SPAK in coordination with the Interpol center in Lyon, with the aim of extraditing this citizen to Albania.

For the assassination of the prosecutor, Plaurent Derivshaj, who is currently wanted, is accused of being the organizer and orderer of the murder.

The suspects as executioners for this event are Redjan Rraja and Ariol Halilaj, while the citizens Akil Nerjaku, Marsel Deçka, E. Sinani, Julian Pjetri and Bashkim Haxhija ended up in handcuffs. Meanwhile, Ramazan Rraja and Julian Meçaj have been announced as wanted.
