Fine against a private clinic/SPAK takes the file of 3 environmental inspectors

SPAK has sent for trial the file for 3 environmental inspectors and 2 doctors arrested and accused of passive corruption.

3 environmental inspectors fined a private clinic where they demanded 30,000 lek not to be fined for treating hospital waste.

While the doctors are under accusation after they bribed 3 environmental inspectors.

NOTICE OF SHORTAGE

1. The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime on 29.12.2023 submitted to the Court the request with the object: Sending to court the criminal case that belongs to the criminal proceeding with No. 84, of 2020, in charge of the defendants Genci Hicka, Ilir Nishali and Gerson Tafa, who are accused of the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in cooperation provided by article 259 and 25 of the Criminal Code, as well as in charge of the defendants Konstandin Balloma and Besim Bo?i who are accused of the criminal offense "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in cooperation provided by article 244 paragraph 1 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

2. In the session of 12.02.2024, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (preliminary session) with a panel composed of judge Erjon Bani, after examining the claims of the parties, with decision No. 39 The Basic Register, dated 12.02.2024 decided:

1. Acceptance of the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

2. Sending to court the criminal case that belongs to the criminal proceeding with No. 84, of 2020, in charge of the defendants:

Genci Hicka, who is accused of the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in cooperation provided by article 259 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

Ilir Nishani, who is accused of the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in cooperation provided by article 259 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

Gersion Tafa, who is accused of the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" carried out in cooperation provided by article 259 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

Konstandin Balloma, who is accused of the criminal offense "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions" carried out in cooperation provided by article 244 paragraph 1 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

Besim Bo?i, who is accused of the criminal offense of "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in cooperation provided by article 244 paragraph 1 and 25 of the Criminal Code;
