A serious accident with one victim and two injured occurred on the Memaliaj Krahës axis.

The police informs that the victim has already been identified.

It is about the citizen Dh.I, 29 years old, the wife of one of the drivers of the vehicle, citizen LI, 35 years old.  

Also, at the end of the procedural actions carried out for this case, the specialists of the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section made the red-handed arrest of the driver of the other vehicle, citizen AM, 37 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules road".

"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding an accident on the "Memaliaj-Krahës" road axis, as a result of which 1 citizen (passenger) lost her life and 2 drivers of the vehicles that collided were injured, we inform you that the citizen who lost her life was identified, Dh. I., 29 years old, wife of the driver of one of the vehicles, citizen LI, 35 years old.

Also, at the end of the procedural actions carried out for this case, the specialists of the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section made the red-handed arrest of the driver of the other vehicle, citizen AM, 37 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules road".

Both injured drivers continue to be under the care of doctors.
