Weapons arsenal found in Shkodra/Two people arrested

The Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Operational Investigation Support Section and the "Eagle" Special Forces Section, has organized and finalized, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the operation codenamed "NDËRMOLLASI 2".

During the operation, a search was carried out at the apartment of citizen RM, 29 years old, in the village of Ura e Shtrenjtë (arrested on 14.09.2025, within the framework of the operation codenamed "Ndërmollasi"), where the following were found and seized as material evidence:

-11 firearms, 5506 live ammunition, 7 automatic firearms, 6 rifle firearms, 35 meters of detonator fuse;

-25.2 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa;

-2 pairs of foreign license plates, one from Germany, the other from Austria.

Following the procedural actions in the case, citizens SM, 29 years old and SM, 31 years old, both residents of the village of Ura e Shtrenjtë, were arrested, as initial investigations suspect that they are their possessors and collaborators of citizen RM.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigations continue to fully document this criminal activity and identify other citizens who may be involved.  

The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
