He left the apartment after raping his mother/ 20-year-old Albanian man found drowned at sea in Italy

The body of a 20-year-old Albanian man has been found at sea by the Coast Guard of Civitanova Marche in Italy. He had been reported missing since Friday evening, after raping his mother in their apartment.

The 53-year-old woman was hospitalized with facial fractures, but her life is out of danger. Authorities were notified of the violence in the Albanian family, but when they arrived at the scene, the young man with the initials RM had left the apartment.

Security cameras had filmed the 20-year-old approaching the port of Civitanova Marche. His car was also found nearby yesterday.

After this, intensive searches continued by firefighters, with the Teramo diving unit, in collaboration with the coast guard and the carabinieri, until the young man's body was found today. /CNA
