Firearm used by 17-year-old in suicide attempt found

Following the investigation into the incident that occurred on 14.07.2025, in the "Kushtrimi" neighborhood, where a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured after attempting suicide with a firearm, it was possible to find and seize, as material evidence, the pistol firearm, which had been thrown into a collection area for various household materials, near the apartment of the minor's grandparents and was located inside a plastic bag.

The seized weapon will be sent to the Institute of Scientific Police for further examination, in order to fully document the event.

The additional materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action./CNA
