The blocking of over 100 kg of hashish/ The number of those arrested goes to 26

As part of the "Restart 11" operation, carried out on 03.08.2022, by the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics in DVP Korçë, in cooperation with the Local Directorate of the Durrës Police, the citizen was arrested and detained in search:

EK, 33 years old, resident of Xhafzotaj village, Durrës.

His arrest was made pursuant to the order dated 04.08.2022, issued by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Korçë, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", carried out in cooperation, remaining pending, in relation to the event that occurred at the Kapshticë Border Crossing Point, where the citizens M.R., 58 years old, resident of Tirana and AM, 45 years old, resident of Fushë Krujë, were stopped, who tried to traffic in the direction of "Scania" truck of Turkey, 101 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis, which was seized as material evidence.

On the part of the Police, intensive investigations are continuing for the complete documentation of this criminal activity. /CNA.al
