The State Police has broken down the criminal scheme that three Albanians and one Italian used to traffic stolen vehicles in Italy and Germany to Albania.

The authorities, after establishing that the 55-year-old identified as EZ was an accomplice in the trafficking of stolen vehicles in Italy and Germany, which, after providing them with false documents, sold them in Albania, have put the 55-year-old in handcuffs while announcing in looking for citizens A. Dh., 38 years old and EK, 43 years old, both residents of Berat, as well as Italian citizen AM, 51 years old.

The police seized 2 stolen vehicles, a camper and a "Fiat" type, made in recent years, worth about 120,000 euros.

" The investigations showed that these 4 citizens, in cooperation with each other, trafficked in Albania, stolen vehicles mainly in Italy and Germany. Also, that they interfered with the identification elements of the vehicles and submitted false documents for them, with the aim of selling them in our country. As material evidence, 2 "Fiat" and "Iveco" type vehicles, produced in recent years, worth about 120,000 euros, were found and seized. The work for the capture of the 3 wanted citizens continues intensively, as well as in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, investigations are being carried out to clarify and legally prove other cases of vehicle trafficking that these citizens may have committed" - it is stated in police statement.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
