The State Police seized 10 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics buried in a forest area, a Kalashnikov and military ammunition in Mirdita, while they arrested a 41-year-old man who had hidden the weapons.

The 41-year-old arrested had hidden the Kalashnikov and 2 magazines with cartridges in the area around the apartment.

Meanwhile, following the operation "Tempulli", in a forest area, near the residence of 2 citizens arrested on November 1, for possession of 4.3 kg of cannabis, another 10 kg of this narcotic substance were found buried.

" As part of the "Rule of Law" operation, a 41-year-old man was arrested who had hidden in the territory around the apartment, a Kalashnikov and 2 cartridges with cartridges.
Following the "Temple" operation, in a forest area, near the apartment of 2 citizens arrested on November 1, for possession of 4.3 kg of cannabis, another 10 kg of this narcotic substance were found buried. citizen Xh. Ç., 41 years old, was arrested red-handed, after in the territory around the residence of this citizen , in the village of Simon, Mirdita, 1 Kalashnikov firearm and 2 magazines with combat cartridges, which were possessed by this citizen, were found hidden, without a permit" - it is stated in the Police announcement.

The police also found and seized 10 kilograms of cannabis sativa during a search in the apartment of two people arrested a few days ago. 

"10 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics were seized, the quantity which was found buried in a forest area, in the village of Simon, Mirditë. The investigations showed that this narcotic belonged to citizens K. Ç. and P. Ç. (cousins) , arrested by the Police, on 01.11.2023, within the mega-operation "Tempulli", as co-owner of 4.3 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotic substance, the amount which was seized by the Police, on the day of the development of the mega- operation
