After the arrest of a 14-year-old by the Police of Vlora, who was caught with a pistol, the parents of students at the "Rilindja" school have expressed their concern and fear for the children's safety.

They pointed out that the level of security at the school has dropped and called for stricter measures to guarantee the protection of students, suggesting that a police patrol be stationed near the school during and outside of school hours.

"We are afraid, security at the school has decreased. When the child leaves school, he does not come home because the other one kills him before he even comes. I stay worried until he comes home from school," said a parent.

A close friend of the arrested 14-year-old explained that he did not carry the gun at school, but only during the rounds outside, and that as soon as they found out about the arrest, they were all shocked.

"I have him as a close friend. Sometimes they check our bags at school. He hasn't been carrying a gun for a long time. He has never come to school with a gun," said the juvenile's friend.
