Accident in Pogradec/ Truck hits the transformer, more than 200 families without electricity

A person, still unidentified by the police, hit an electricity transformer with a truck.

As a result, over 200 families were left without electricity.

The event was recorded in one of the neighborhoods of Bucimas village of Pogradec municipality. The author of the incident himself has left.

OSHEE's work groups have arrived at the scene together with the State Police, where the latter have engaged to find the author of this event.

Restoring power will require several hours of work.

According to official information from OSHEE, the possibility of installing a new transformer is being seen, since the existing one was damaged by the impact and fall.

Fortunately, there were no electrocution injuries at the time of the strike, even though this transformer is located near the residences./ CNA
