A day ago, a 9th grade student was arrested in Vlora, who was found with a pistol and 130 bullets.

The 14-year-old had hidden a pistol firearm and about 130 rounds of ammunition in a motor vehicle near a residence.

The police are continuing the intensive work to identify the person who handed over the gun to this 14-year-old, who was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon.

"A pistol with about 130 rounds of ammunition, which this 14-year-old had hidden, was found in a motor vehicle near an apartment. From our side, intensive work continues to identify the person who gave the gun to this 14-year-old, who was arrested for possession of a weapon without a permit", said the director of the Vlorë Police, Elidon Çela.

Meanwhile, the father of the 14-year-old, Bardhosh Tozaj, reacted today to the media outside the Vlora Police Directorate, rejecting the accusations.

He emphasized that the weapon was not found in his apartment, but in an uninhabited area, a three-story building, thus contradicting the police version.

"The gun was found in an uninhabited 3-story building, they went with some friends and found it, in an uninhabited building they also found 3 magazines and it is thought that there may be other ammunition.

Information has circulated that the boy had a weapon at the 9-year-old school 'Rilindja'. This is fake news! I gave the information to the police, after the boy showed me a video he had made with some friends and I was worried. There was a problem at school, a game on 'TikTok' they take the friend and throw him up. I was in a meeting with the principal and the teacher and I expressed this concern about the boy's video, was it real or a toy gun. We met with the police officers at the school and then giving information we came to the police with the phone, they saw the video which was not a toy and we followed the case.
