Greek authorities have dismantled a gang of foreigners who systematically committed thefts in different areas of Attica.

From the preliminary investigations until now, 51 cases of theft have been revealed, in the period from April 7, 2021 to November 18, 2022.

In particular, according to ELAS, three Albanians aged 16, 17 and 18 were arrested as gang members, but also for violating the legislation on narcotic substances, as they possessed 40.48 grams of cannabis. Also, eight other members of the gang were identified, two of whom are in prison.

As for the mode of action, the defendants have mainly entered parked vehicles, removing valuables from inside them. At the same time they committed thefts in houses, shops and offices.

The arrested were sent to the Criminal Prosecutor's Office of Athens, while investigations are continuing for the capture of the remaining members of the criminal organization. /CNA.al Source: Capital.gr
