Wallander in Skopje: We are united for a safe Europe

20th Ministerial Meeting of the US-Adriatic Charter (A-5) in Skopje, North Macedonia.

The US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Celeste Wallander, spoke about the future of the Balkan countries and Europe at the 20th ministerial meeting of the US-Adriatic Charter in Skopje.

During her speech at this meeting, she said that the US remains strongly committed to NATO's open door policy, to ensure a secure Europe.

She said that they are not only allies of the countries but also friends.

"The United States remains strongly committed to NATO's open door policy, to ensuring a secure and peaceful Europe, and we are proud of the good relations the United States has with the member states of the Adriatic Charter. We are not only allies, we are also friends who are united towards the vision of a peaceful and stable Europe, which follows and respects the principles of freedom and the rule of law," said Celeste Wallander./ CNA
