On the fourth day of protests in Skopje against the acceptance of the French proposal, the protesters broke the windows of the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Meanwhile, according to reports, it is known that Molotov cocktails and hard objects were thrown in the direction of the government building.

The protesters called on the Foreign Minister, Bujar Osmani, to learn the history and in their banners, his name was deformed to Bugar Osmani.

The Minister of the Interior, Oliver Spasovski, said that 4 policemen were injured, as he added that an attempt was made to escalate the situation in yesterday's protest.

"Violence against those who take care of the order, the Macedonian police, against the institutions will not bring anything. Yesterday we had an attempt to escalate the situation, we have 4 injured policemen", Spasovski wrote on his Facebook profile.

Protesters are demanding that the Macedonian government reject the European Union's proposal, known as the French proposal, to start membership negotiations.

According to them, the French proposal "Bulgarianizes" North Macedonia and does not recognize the Macedonian language or history. /CNA.al
