Shooting at a school in the USA/ 5 people are killed, 5 others are injured

At least five people have died and five others have been injured in a shooting at a school in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

Some of the injured are in critical condition, while the suspected perpetrator is thought to be among the victims.

Madison Police Chief Sean Barnes said officers who responded to the scene did not fire a weapon.

The senior press secretary at the White House, Emilie Simons, also reacted to the event.

"The President has been briefed on the school shooting in Madison, Wisconsin. "Senior White House officials are in contact with local counterparts in Madison to provide support as needed," the White House spokeswoman said./ CNA
