Two people have been killed in a shooting at a Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen, southern Germany.
The police stated that the perpetrator has been arrested and that there is no longer any employee in danger.
"We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic news from Sindelfingen this morning. Our condolences go to the victims, their families and all colleagues in the country", stated a representative of the "Mercedes" company.
Founded in 1915 in Sindelfingen, Germany, Mercedes-Benz is the automaker's longest-running plant, employing about 35,000 people, according to the company's website. Mercedes-Benz is the factory that produces the E-Class and S-Class.
