Sex scandal in Montenegro/ Senior officials resign after publication of intimate

A major political scandal has rocked Montenegro following the online publication of an intimate video involving two senior state officials: Mirjana Pajkovic, former Director General for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, and Dejan Vuksic, former director of the National Security Agency and advisor to the former President.

After the distribution of intimate materials on social media, both reported resigning from their positions, citing "personal reasons."

Pajkovic has said that it is "revenge porn" and has accused Vuksic of threats and blackmail regarding the videos, while the latter has denied all allegations and said that he only saw the materials after they were spread online.

Both have filed criminal charges against each other, Pajkovic for unauthorized distribution of intimate content, and Vuksic for blackmail and phone theft, while the scandal has sparked widespread public and political debate in the country. /CNA
