Syria recognized Kosovo/ Kurti: Bilateral relations will be strengthened

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted to Syria's recognition of the state of Kosovo. Kurti thanks President Vjosa Osmani and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the negotiations to achieve recognition.

Prime Minister Kurti writes that his government will be committed to strengthening bilateral relations.

" After Kenya and Sudan, Syria becomes the next country to recognize Kosovo within this year. Three more recognitions and three new partnerships for our country.
For this good news for the state and all our citizens, we are grateful to the successful efforts of our President Vjosa Osmani and the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a friendly and partner state of our Republic.
From today, we are committed to strengthening the ties between us by establishing bilateral relations with common interests and long-term partnerships ," Kurti writes./ CNA
