US doubles aid to Ukraine

The US Agency for International Development Cooperation announced that an additional 4.5 billion dollars will be made available to the budget for Ukraine. The US is doubling its financial aid by helping Ukraine to the tune of $8.5 billion.

The funds are intended to help the Ukrainian government to meet the most important expenses, such as social assistance and financial assistance for people who leave their places of residence to go to safe areas inside Ukraine. Funds for Ukraine will be provided in several installments, which will be coordinated with the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank.

Përveç paketës financiare SHBA-ja po planifikon për Ukrainën gjithashtu edhe ndihma të mëtejshme ushtarakeqë shkojnë në një miliardë dollarë.
