Shaip Kamberi receives a new mandate in the Assembly of Serbia

The chairman of the Party for Democratic Action, Shaip Kamberi, will once again be the voice of the Albanians of the Presheva Valley in the Assembly of Serbia.

Kamberi from the "Political battle of Albanians continues" list has won the elections in Bujanovc and Preshevo with 11,454 votes.

Visar Mehmeti from the other Albanian list "Alternative Democratic Albanian-United Valley" was also in the race for the post of deputy.

By the time the polling stations closed at 8:00 p.m., 40 percent had turned out to vote in Bujanoc, and over 20 percent in Presheva.

Regarding the total result, the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Bërnabi?, a member of the Serbian Progressive Party, of the current president, Aleksandar Vu?i?, said that the first results in 50 percent of the polling stations show that the party won 47.1 percent of the votes.

According to these predictions, the opposition coalition "Serbia against violence" won 23 percent of the votes and the Socialist Party of Serbia, 6.7 percent of the votes./ CNA
