Russia hits residential areas in Ukraine/Kiev damages a critical bridge

Ukrainian officials say the Russian military has bombed residential areas across Ukraine as its fighters hit the last functioning bridge over a river in Russian-held southern Ukraine, undermining Russia's ability to resupply its military.

The mayor of the city of Kramatorsk said a Russian missile attack killed three people and wounded 13 others on Friday night. Kramatorsk is the eastern base of the Ukrainian army.
