The President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, has recalled seven ambassadors.

The decrees do not mention the reasons why these ambassadors were withdrawn, while there is no clarification from Siljanovska's Cabinet either.

The decrees for the withdrawal of seven ambassadors from the cabinet of President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova have been published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette dated November 11.

These are extraordinary and all-powerful ambassadors in five countries and two organizations. Among them is North Macedonia's ambassador to NATO based in Brussels, Dane Taleski, who according to the decision will remain ambassador until January 15, 2025, while the mandate of the other six ends on November 30 of this year.

From December 1, the mandate of Teuta Agai Demjaha, who is the head of the existing mission of North Macedonia to the United Nations Organization in Geneva, ends. 

Among the other withdrawn ambassadors is Danço Markovski in Albania. Decrees have also been withdrawn for the ambassador to the Holy See in the Vatican, Maria Efremova, then Faton Bejta from Denmark, Sali Limani from Kazakhstan and Shaban Jashari, who is the ambassador to Qatar based in Doha.
