Massive flooding in Italy/ Hundreds of people evacuated

The River Senio has overflowed in Castel Bolognese Ravena and the water is reaching the center of the city, and the entire Emilia-Romagna region.

About 1,000 people have been evacuated after the massive floods.

165 people were relocated to the Bologna area and all spent the night in the reception centers made available by the municipalities and prefectures. Schools were closed in most of the central-eastern part of the region.

Modena is out of the most critical zone, but the alert remains over the city.
