The Third World War has already begun, warned the former deputy prime minister of Ukraine.

Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze told The Sun that any Western hope of negotiating peace with Russia is "naive" and "Putin's empire" must be destroyed before it expands further. 

Ivanna told The Sun that for Ukraine to defeat Putin, Russia must be weakened, isolated and expelled.

"For Putin, any kind of negotiation is give me the land. He will not give it back. Any kind of peace agreement is only to confirm that Ukrainians do not exist," she said. 

Action against Putin, she explained, means destroying the Russian empire like Nazi Germany after World War II.

She added that negotiating with Putin before he has the chance to conquer Europe will not work.

"Russia must be isolated against a strong allied force in the West, just as Germany was more than 80 years ago," she explained. /CNA
