Parliament meets tomorrow/ Election of new Kosovo government expected

Tomorrow, November 19, a plenary session will be held to elect the new Government of Kosovo. This session will start at 2:00 PM.

Earlier at 11:00, a session will be held to form parliamentary committees and the draft law on the budget of three Kosovo municipalities will also be reviewed and approved: Pristina, Gjilan and Zubin Potok.

Another issue is the financing of Radio Television of Kosovo and the ratification of several international agreements.

The session for the Government is being held on the last day of the constitutional mandate, after President Vjosa Osmani mandated Glauk Konjufca from the Vetëvendosje Movement on November 4 to form the new executive.

According to practice, Konjufca is expected to present a presentation to 120 MPs and introduce the new governing cabinet, for which at least 61 votes are required.

After being proposed as a candidate by LVV, Konjufca said that he wants cooperation with parliamentary parties, but not any coalition agreement./ CNA
