A loving couple's last messages to each other before the Hamas massacre

A soldier has told Sky Nea the painful story of his friend. He was killed along with his fiancee in the last days of fighting in the Izeael-Hamas war.

"This is my friend," he said, pointing to a picture on the screen of a beautiful young woman and her fiancé. It is about Nieve Raviv, 27 years old, and Nirel Zini, in his 20s. The soldier says that he received the sad news the day before.

The young couple lived in kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the most violent communities when Hamas militants from nearby Gaza attacked this patch of rural farmland last weekend.

It tells how the two young men wanted to know if they were alive but suddenly their lives ended.

Nirel messages: "They're here."

Nieve then sends him a series of messages, asking him to send her an okay signal.

"Tell me you're alive. Just tell me something."
