Kreshnik Spahiu: If SP takes Rrogozhina and Kukësi, it will announce

Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu spoke about the political situation and the elections that are being held today in Rrogozhinë and those that are expected to be held in Kukës.

According to Spahiu, if the Socialist Party succeeds in taking these municipalities again, then it will announce extraordinary elections, as it will be its best chance to win a fourth mandate.

"The socialist party, Rrogozhina and Kukës, has a kind of test. If they win, the socialists will look at the possibility of announcing early parliamentary elections, since if they win in two strongholds of the democrats such as Rrogozhina and Kukësi, after two "megascandals" such as the arrest of the mayor and the arrest warrant for the former deputy prime minister, then the socialists will not hesitate to take the country to early elections because they will see it as the best opportunity to be re-elected for a fourth term.

If they lose, they will understand that these scandals have greatly influenced the people, and the issue of early elections or not will not be discussed. The number that the socialists have in the parliament made Albania go to elections only if the socialists want it. Thus, Rrogozhina takes on an extraordinary importance", said Spahiu in a television appearance/ CNA
