The analyst from Kosovo, Dritëro Arifi, has emphasized that it is necessary to set the date of the elections in the north of Kosovo.
During a television interview in Euronews Albania, Arifi stated that the US has shown itself to be tougher with Serbia than with Kosovo, citing the declaration non grata of the head of Serbian intelligence, Aleksandër Vulin.
"The date of the elections must be set and then there will be a coordination of both sides, the Serbian side and the Kosovar side. Serbia has been sanctioned, but we don't want to see it. The US has hit Serbia more than Kosovo. The sanctions against Vulin did not hit only the person but also the most important institution that a country has. Kosovo must finish the work. We have to act fast and sort things out. If the Serbian side does not participate in the elections, then the pressure goes to the Serbian side and not to the Kosovar side" - said Arifi./CNA.al
