Kovacevski resigns, the message to the people

The services of the Assembly of North Macedonia announce that Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski has submitted his resignation to the Assembly.

Before handing over the mandate, Kovacevski said: " Talat Xhaferi has experience in running the parliament, I came with another experience, in running corporations and we have a different style as politicians, but the state will surely keep the same direction, pro-Western orientation and strategic goals, the technical government will take good care of the citizens. This is something that the law foresees and on May 9 the new government will be led by me and the coalition that will take Macedonia to the EU by 2030." .

In the following hours, the speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi, will also resign, who is expected to assume the position of technical prime minister on Sunday./ CNA
