North Korea with extreme measures / Jail for parents who allow children to watch

Foreign media reports that parents in North Korea will be jailed if they allow their children to watch Hollywood movies.

Earlier, parents received a serious warning if something like this happened, but now the measures have escalated.

Under the new measures taken by Pyongyang, parents will be sent to labor camps for six months, while their children will have to serve five years for the country.

In labor camps, prisoners must do grueling and dangerous work with primitive tools on farms and mines, while food is rationed, leaving most prisoners on the brink of starvation.

It is also reported that citizens caught talking, dancing or singing like South Koreans will also serve six months, and their parents will suffer a similar fate.

Foreign media, especially anything considered "Western", is strictly prohibited in North Korea./ CNA.al
