Several drones were launched in the early hours of this morning towards the Iranian city of Isfahan, where an Iranian air base and several military buildings are located.

Local media reports that the attack was from Israel, while so far 3 drones have been captured and destroyed over Isfahan.

However, an Israeli official has denied that the attack is from them.

A spokesman for the country's National Cyberspace Center said there had not been an attack, but Israel had attempted to shoot down several suspicious drones.

"There was no air attack from the external borders in Isfahan or other parts of the country," he said.

The Israeli military said it "does not have a comment at this time" when asked by CNN .

On the other hand, the United States confirmed the attack and announced that it had not authorized Tel Aviv to carry it out./ CNA
