Attacks on Iran/Prime Minister Kurti: Kosovo stands by the US

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated today that the Republic of Kosovo stands by the United States, in its reaction regarding the American attacks on Iran.

Through a post on social media, Kurti writes regarding the event that international security needs fewer nuclear weapons and fewer nuclear bombs, which put all of humanity at risk.

"International security needs fewer nuclear weapons, not more nuclear bombs that endanger all of humanity. Especially when authoritarian states develop programs to equip themselves with nuclear weapons, this issue becomes urgent and alarming."

The Republic of Kosovo supports the position of the United States and the European Union regarding Iran's program to acquire nuclear weapons.

The United States is our main ally, irreplaceable partner and special friend. The Republic of Kosovo is strongly determined to defend democratic and Euro-Atlantic values. The United States is the democratic superpower that must be supported,” Kurti said. /CNA
