The right in Serbia protests against the agreement with Kosovo

Supporters of four right-wing parties gathered on April 22 in Novi Sad, Serbia, demanding the cancellation of an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia to normalize relations, as well as the resignation of officials in Serbia.

The rally, in which several hundred citizens participated, was called by the parliamentary parties: New Democratic Party, Dveri, Zavetnici and the Movement for the Revival of the Kingdom of Serbia.

The protesters called for the announcement of extraordinary elections at all levels.

They carried flags of Serbia and traditional flags of Vojvodina, while some Russian flags were also seen. Their banners read: "Today Kosovo, tomorrow Vojvodina" and "Vu?i?, resignation".

On March 18 in Ohrid, the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia agreed on the implementation of the Agreement towards the normalization of relations, which was reached orally at the end of February.

This agreement does not envisage mutual recognition between the two countries, but requires them not to hinder each other in the integration processes.

The agreement also requires the parties to implement all the agreements reached so far within the dialogue for the normalization of relations, including the one for the Association of Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo, which has often been the cause of clashes between Pristina and Belgrade.

The right-wing parties in Serbia oppose any dialogue with Kosovo and have organized a similar rally in Belgrade in March./ Rel
