Will meet with Trump on December 29/ Details of Netanyahu's visit to the US revealed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will depart Israel for Miami on December 28, to meet the next day with US President Donald Trump and his top advisers at the US president's Mar-a-Lago resort.

This was announced by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office. After the visit, Netanyahu will depart for Israel on January 1 and arrive in his country the next day. The visit comes as the Trump administration is trying to launch the second phase of the White House's plan for Gaza.

For his second consecutive visit to the US, Netanyahu will not allow journalists on his plane, the "Wing of Zion", even though it is built with a dedicated section for journalists.

The visit comes at a time when the Trump administration is pushing forward the launch of the second phase of the White House's 20-point plan for Gaza. /CNA
