Talks to start negotiations/ Zelensky gives green light for further meetings in

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave the green light for direct talks with Russia to continue in Istanbul, despite the situation with the Russian delegation sent by President Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky said only part of his delegation would participate in the negotiations and the group would be led by his defense minister. He said the time and duration of the talks had not yet been determined.

It is learned that the talks will include Ukraine, Russia, the US and Turkey.

According to Turkish media, Zelensky accused the Russian side of not taking the talks seriously and of not seeing any decision-makers among their delegation, despite direct negotiations taking place at the instigation of Moscow.

The Ukrainian president is in Turkey because he had challenged Putin to meet face to face so that negotiations could take place at the highest level, presenting this as proof of Russia's genuine desire to seek peace.
