Numri i të vrarëve nga sulmet izraelite në Rripin e Gazës është rritur në 493 persona, njoftuan autoritetet vendase. Ndërkohë numri i palestinezëve të plagosur është rritur gjithashtu, në 2751.
Nga pala izraelite deri më tani raportohet se më shumë 700 njerëz janë vrarë në Izrael që kur Hamasi nisi sulmet e tij të shtunën në mëngjes, duke përfshirë 260 në një festival muzikor.
Ministria e Jashtme e Tajlandës njotoi se mes viktimave ka pasur 12 shtetas tajlandez, të cilat janë vrarë nga sulmet me raketa të Hamasit.
Ushtria izraelite thotë se sulmi i befasishëm i koordinuar i nisur nga Hamasi të shtunën duket si sulmi i shtatorit 2001 në SHBA./CNA
