The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, addressed the pensioners with a message, triggered by the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama about pensions and the criminal event in Korça.

Berisha said at the overnight protest of his supporters that pensioners should not be lied to.

He stated that Rama is behaving like an ordinary with the pensioners and therefore the latter should join the protesters in Shkodër tomorrow, to express their anger towards the government.

"Dear pensioners and retirees, don't be fooled by this man. I salute your representatives last night for nailing the cheater, forcing him to act like an ordinary. They all revealed what he is.

But tomorrow in Shkodër is an opportunity for everyone to express hatred, anger against him, against his government and his gangs.

Dear retirees, he is building his paradise in Durrës for himself, for his family, for the generations to come.    

12,500 apartments, 6 luxury hotels, all on public land, while the Albanians are being fined 1 billion euros for the construction of the new port.

Imagine, dear pensioners, how much your pension would be if these euros were used to increase it.

Your pension would be at least 2-3 times higher than it is today and the state would not lose anything, on the contrary it would show humanity, compassion, love and respect to you, which you fully deserve. Tomorrow everyone in Shkodër, it's our turn, it's our turn, it's our turn," Berisha emphasizes./ CNA
