EU opens negotiations for Albania and North Macedonia/ Foreign Minister of Ukraine: Well deserved!

The Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, has called the opening of negotiations with the European Union of Albania and North Macedonia deserved.

In a post on Twitter, he congratulated Albania and North Macedonia for the opening of negotiations.

"I welcome the decision to open EU negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia. Historical and deserved, dear colleagues Olta Xhaçka and Bujar Osmani. The European Union once again proved that it has the muscles to lead, create new opportunities and shape the future of Europe", wrote Kuleba.

The first intergovernmental conferences for Albania and North Macedonia were held today in Brussels. Negotiations for EU membership were officially opened today.

Meanwhile, Ukraine received the status of a candidate country for the EU, a few days ago./ CNA.al
