Bomb alert in Paris/Buildings evacuated in many areas of the city

Several buildings in Paris, including the Montparnasse Tower and Sciences Po Paris, are being evacuated tonight evening after bomb threats, according to French newspaper 'Le Figaro'.

Citing a police source, Le Figaro reported that several emails were sent to various authorities containing threats to blow up various locations in Paris.

The Eiffel Tower was also mentioned as a possible location, but evacuation was reportedly not accepted.

French authorities responded with security measures and evacuations after a series of threatening electronic calls, but so far no real bomb threat has been confirmed in Paris. /CNA
