The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development held a meeting with farmers in the Shkodra region as part of the information on the new call for national investment schemes.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture emphasized informing women before they apply so that they can be sure beneficiaries of these schemes.

" We are conducting a tour throughout Albania for the national agricultural investment scheme. A great commitment is also required from the local government so that farmers know how to access the benefit scheme. The investment scheme is 20 million dollars. We also have another support, which is the sovereign guarantee. When you do not have the opportunity to provide collateral and obtain a loan, 70% is decided by the state and the loan from banks will be given at 2%. Investments are important for the development of agriculture and livestock, but also of agriculture and fishing. Contact the institutions and do not put yourself in difficulty because you may make a mistake during the application ", said the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Arjan Jaupllari.

The Deputy Mayor of Shkodër Municipality, Alban Preka, called on farmers to apply en masse, saying that the information points will be open around the clock.
