The economic expert, Romina Radonshiqi, predicted the economic situation for 2023 in a statement for CNA.al.

Radonshiqi said that the next year will follow the problems of 2022, both in Albanian families, and in livestock farmers and businesses.

Contrary to what the Bank of Albania claims, the expert warns that the first 3 months of 2023 will be similar to the 3 months of the end of 2022, after which the economic situation in the country will start to improve.

“Viti 2023 do të marrë me vete problematikat e vitit 2022. Pasi familjet shqiptare janë varfëruar, bizneset do të përballen sërisht me kosto të larta të lëndës së parë. Fermerët shqiptarë do të jenë sërisht në vështirësi, pasi subvencionet drejtuar sektorit të buqësisë janë të pamjaftueshme, duke i bërë produktet buqësore dhe blektorale më pak konkurruese në treg krahasuar me produktet e importit që hyjnë në tregjet shqiptare. Forcimi i monedhës vendase kundrejt Euros (nënçmimi) është një tjetër problematikë për eksportuesit shqiptar, pasi i ka bërë këto eksporte më të shtrenjta dhe më pak konkurruese në tregjet ndërkombëtare.
