The Netherlands and Italy are the two countries that have the main weight of investments in Albania.

During the January-September period, Dutch investments reach the value of 147 million euros, while Italian investments reach 98 million euros.

Compared to the investments of the previous year, a significant increase is observed.

From the data published by the Bank of Albania, it appears that German investments have also grown significantly over the last two years. Within 9 months, German investments reach the figure of 75 million euros, from 31 million that were a year ago.

Kosovo is also part of the list of countries that have recorded an increase in investments in Albania. Throughout this year, investments from Kosovo have increased by 14 million euros.

The same applies to investments from the USA and Austria, where during the period July-August-September 2022, investments reach the figure of 344 million euros, 84 million euros more than a year ago.

The main source of investments in Albania is the energy and minerals sector, followed by financial activity and insurance.
