The anti-corruption spokeswoman in DP, Genta Vangjeli, accused the former Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj of having committed corruption scandals and money laundering.

In a press statement, Vangjeli said that with the signature of Veliaj and Xhafaj, state property was robbed to carry out the construction of towers.

She mentioned the 'Square 21' complex, the 7-storey tower without permission 'Eye of Tirana', the 25-storey tower of the municipality of Paris and the 320 thousand square meter construction of the lake dam.

According to her, all these were built by relatives of Fatmir Xhafaj and the permits were given in a corrupt manner.

Fatmir Xhafaj, the author of the revenge by imprisoning the number 2 of the DP parliamentary group, Ervin Salijanji, was denounced a few days ago by the investigative show 'Plug'.

3. The construction of the 25-storey tower at the municipality of Paris and the approval of the construction permit for the subject 'Unico Construction' shpk bought with a symbolic value by the relative of Fatmir Xhafajt.

4. The construction of 320 thousand square meters at the lake dam, by the entity 'BUILDING CONSTRUCTION INVEST', also a company bought by the man from Xhafaj.

5. The construction of the accommodation structure with the applicant strategic investor "Klais shpk" owned by the relatives of Fatmir Xhafajt, exempted for 10 years from the payment of profit tax, property taxes, also from the tax for the impact on the infrastructure, which will pay only 6% VAT.

So Fatmir Xhafaj's man, publicly attacked by the prime minister, turns into the biggest beneficiary of permits for towers and state favors with his blessing

It should not have been Ervin Salijani in prison, but Fatmir Xhafaj together with his prestanames through which he launders money.

Due to his brother, an international drug trafficker convicted by Italian justice, Fatmir Xhafaj should have been under financial investigation as provided by the anti-mafia law and not at the head of the so-called "anti-corruption" commission, nor in the position to call for a report on all the institutions of what is called "new justice".
