On the evening of May 14, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the former mayor of Shengjin, Salvador Kaçaj, denounced that the latter was followed by a car without license plates and was shot with a gun, but escaped thanks to the maneuvering of the driver.

Berisha came out again in a statement today, where he spoke about this issue. He published the video when Kaçaj was attacked by unidentified persons.
