On January 28, 2024 at around 10:30 p.m., an engaged couple was returning from Përmeti to Gjirokastër with their Golf type car.

Fatos Kalemi and Alime Malka just crossed Tepelena, near the village of Mashkullore, they were hit in their lane by a "Benz" type vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Françesk Kaca.
