He filmed the chaos on the plane/ The staff blackmails the passenger

A citizen addressed the editors of the show "Stop", saying that on July 17 she was traveling with "Wizz Air" from Genoa to Tirana. But she says delays were created because the company had sold more tickets than the plane's capacity. At this moment she took out her cell phone, filmed and took the recording to a portal. After that, the citizen was blackmailed by the plane's staff and some passengers.

Complainant: On July 17, I had a flight from Genoa to Tirana with 'Wizz air'. I recorded a video after a delay we had with the plane and sent it to a portal. They identified me from the video and mistreated me, meaning they didn't protect my privacy. The moment they identified that I had made a video, I can say that they also bullied me and my family, because I was with a friend. After waiting an hour before getting on the plane, when we got on the company had done 'over booking', so they had two extra seats. So they let us wait an hour, an hour and a half on top of the plane to get off the two extra passengers. During the trip, the employees kept coming to me, asking me to give them my passport to draw up a letter. I refused to give it and they told me that 'when we get down the police will come' I said 'ok'. I demand justice for this situation, I demand that other situations do not happen to other citizens because it is not fair .

Rrahman Kasa, the president of the Albanian Tourist Union, talks about the company's obligation to compensate, when delays are over three hours, or there are flight cancellations. Speaking about the incident of July 17, Kasa said that the lady should go to court, as it is not forbidden to film on the plane or in the waiting rooms at airports.

We have many problems, above all in Albania, where it is known that there are very big miracles, but in fact it is a problem not only for Albanians, it is a very widespread problem. In fact, according to the rules, if the passengers' flight is delayed for more than 3 hours, the company must compensate them. When it comes to force majeure, for example when it is due to bad weather, national strikes, the company is not to blame.

Journalist : Are we in the conditions where a company can exclude you from the line or take measures against the passenger because he filmed the delay in the plane or waiting in the airport lobby.

Rrahman Kasa, the president of the Albanian Tourist Union: Absolutely, this is the right of every citizen. Above all he has done what he felt and what cost him first because he may have missed a very important meeting, he may have lost a job, he may have lost a family joy or maybe even worse that is his right. In such cases the case goes to court because that's how it works all over the world. There are even EU countries that have free lawyers for such cases, when it comes to threats to citizens of this nature. This is then decided only by the court./tvklan.al
