Fires in Albania/Greece sends planes for the second time to put out the flames

Albania is engulfed in flames again. Just like a few times before, this time the help comes from Greece, which will send a plane to extinguish the fires in the Albanian mountains.

The request for assistance was made through the civil defense mechanism.

In particular, the Commissioner for Crisis Management, Yanes Lenarsic, in a post on Twitter, points out: "The heat is also hitting Southeast Europe, there is a high risk of fires. After a request for help from Albania, through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, Greece offered help. Two firefighting planes have already left for Albania."

This is the second time this year that Greece responds to Albania's request to send planes to our country. /CNA.al
