The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has declared Eno Agasi, the cousin of businessman Ergys Agasi, wanted. He is the son of Agasi's uncle, who is suspected of having removed millions of euros worth of wine from a winery owned by Ergys Agasi.

Based on the investigation, during a search of Agas's apartment, BKH investigators discovered a wine cellar, where the multi-year collection "Petrvs Pomedol" was located, which was suspected of being smuggled goods.

But, in this case, not only the disappearance of the expensive "Petrvs Pomedol" wine collection is being investigated, but also the responsibility of the Customs Directorate structures, which, instead of seizing and transporting it immediately, had left the goods in storage at the facility.

Media sources indicate that according to the investigation, Eno Agasi removed the quantity of wine from the winery during the night and then removed the security camera server. And when the Customs vans returned to collect the goods and send them for storage, they found that the wine was no longer in the winery.

Customs officials conducted an inventory for several hours and estimated a damage of about 400 million lek to the state budget, as a result of non-payment of excise duty. Because the inspection took place at night and the transport could not be carried out, the goods were temporarily stored in the villa's premises, from where Eno Agasi removed the goods. /CNA
